Ceramics
Nunnington Pottery in Nunnington Studios on Low Street, Nunnington is the new gallery and workspace for ceramicist Pamela Thorby.
Following a distinguished career in music, Pamela retired from playing, recording and her teaching at the Royal Academy of Music in London to embark on a new course of study in the visual arts and dedicated herself to learning the skills of working with clay.
Wheelthrown and glazed studio ceramics with form and decoration inspired and informed by the ever-changing beauty of Ryedale. Earthenware and stoneware cups, bowls, vases, jugs, platters, teapots, wall pieces, candlesticks, plus sculptural handbuilt porcelain. No two pieces will be the same. This is unique, skilfully crafted pottery for your home.
