Louise Dwyer

A piece of jewellery created by Louise centres particularly on the re-imagining of special pieces: taking the original theme, learning its story and creating a design before re-determining into a new and wearable design. 

 

She combines the stories, character and places making original works and curating collections of nature and landscape.

 

The jewellery Louise makes is about its crafting to create jewellery using materials that are sustainable and to have a piece of jewellery that is for a life time. “I enjoy finding the ways to construct specially crafted and individual pieces of jewellery for my customers. I’ll combine different elements to create a unique piece that tells its own story. It’s a privilege for me to create new pieces from jewellery that would otherwise be sitting in a box and having little use.”

Louise designs her own distinctively elegant contemporary pieces, which are on display and available to buy from NGalleries and at her own studio in Ryedale.
