About

 01 about

After the success of the inaugural 2021 edition, Ryedale Open Studios will return for it's 4th year in 2024. Dedicated to celebrating the creativity and artistic talent of the Ryedale district of North Yorkshire, the event celebrates and showcases the abundant arts and crafts taking place throughout the region. Artists, makers and creators across Ryedale will open their doors for two weekends offering both an exclusive glimpse into their workplaces, and the opportunity to buy art works directly. This website will show the participating artists, what they have on offer and where you can find them. We will keep adding new artists as they come on board and offer a downloadable map and further details on each when the list is finalised.

The Ryedale Open studios was organised by Vault Arts Centre, a Community Interest Company founded to develop arts activities and events in the Ryedale area. The founders and directors of Vault Arts Centre are Layla Khoo, Kirsty Kirk and Petra Young.

After a 3 successful editions the team decided to step back and hand the baton to the team at Malton Sculpture Trail, who will be orgnising the 2024 event.
