Catriona Stewart is an artist living and working near Malton.
Before she came to live in North Yorkshire she had a design business selling her work internationally, as well as in Britain (among others, to the V&A, The National Gallery, The Royal Academy, Liberty's London and Barneys, New York).
She is primarily a colourist, and paints her world here, both outer (the N.Yorkshire landscape), and inner (fantasy and myth). She doesn’t make a clear distinction between representational and abstract work.
