Nathan Boden

Nathan Boden will be exhibiting his work and working in situ in his current residency space at the Parish project, Spital street Malton.

 

I’m Nathan Boden, a British illustrator and muralist with a background in graphic design. My work is all about capturing the playful and vibrant aspects of the natural world. I blend intricate illustrations of food/drink, flora and fauna with elements of typography, puns, and humor to create pieces that are visually captivating and, hopefully, a little witty. Whether I’m working on a colorful mural or a detailed illustration, I always aim to merge the whimsical with the organic, inviting viewers to engage not just with the artwork but with the message behind it as well.

With a solid foundation in graphic design and illustration, my creative process combines precision with imagination. This allows me to craft artwork that feels both accessible and layered. I tend to celebrate food and the natural world in my work, exploring the beauty of everyday life through a unique lens of color and detail.

I’ve had the privilege of exhibiting my work in various locations across the UK, including Cambridge, Lincoln, and Malton. My pieces have been well-received for their distinctive style and for how I blend humor with a genuine appreciation for nature
