Environmental Art

Environmental Art is comprised of a group of artists and craftspeopleall working to promote the arts, traditional heritage crafts and the community, working from our studio in Malton.

 

Piers is an artist blacksmith and sculptor, using metal and often incorporating waste or recycled materials. Piers’ work focuses on the interaction and often unintended consequences of the built environment interacting with nature. Piers’ work ranges from small 2D/3D work to large exterior sculpture.

 

Hermione is a textiles artist, working with a range of fibres, both natural and recycled or repurposed creating often abstract forms revolving around the nature of colour. Hermione’s work ranges from abstract, sculptural pieces to wearable work.
