Hannah Turlington

Hannah is an artist who describes herself as an autoethnographer, using her own exploration of self to connect with others.

Her work is informed by her research and writing, which is communicated in her work.  Hannah’s mixed media pieces are very tactile, with the liberal use of hand stitching and text that communicates her thoughts of identity, conformity, being a woman and search for self. Hannah’s work focuses on holding the space in which to be authentic.
