Sarah Green

Having taught Art in Schools for over 25years and the children now ‘fledged’, but still teach a Monthly Paint night in Pickering Memorial Hall.
My collaged work is created with hand painted and sourced papers, full of colour and texture. I gather inspiration from nature and particularly love the work of Klimt, Matisse, Picasso, Hockney, Van Gogh and Gauguin.

I welcome commissions, usually pet or landscape themed and make hand woven patterned rugs.

I have designed and painted two wall murals in America and am currently working on a 74’ x 11’ Yorkshire scene in a local bowls club.
My work is largely sold from my studio which is based in the Beehive shop in Pickering Marketplace.
